Message from the Head

Dear Students,
In the business world, where global competition is intense today, businesses in all sectors must take steps that may turn competition into opportunities. For businesses, infrastructure or technology is features that may be easily imitated. However, human resources that can use technology and equipment effectively and efficiently cannot be easily imitated. Therefore, trained and equipped human resources are needed in the foreign trade and logistics sector for the advancement and development of the sector.

The curriculum of Tarsus University International Trade and Logistics Department has been prepared according to the opinions of the internal and external stakeholders and today's needs. There are many courses in our curriculum that will contribute to the business life of our students, especially marketing, storage, transportation, import and export, customs, business and professional foreign language. Since the last semester of the department is completely devoted to the internship, our students can have many experiences related to the sector before graduating. Students are offered the opportunity to study abroad with the Erasmus exchange program and study domestically with the Farabi program. In addition, projects are developed to increase the competitiveness of the sector by providing cooperation between the University-Public and Private Sector through International Trade and Logistics Application and Research Center. In the International Trade and Logistics Department, graduate education is also provided beside the undergraduate program. The department starting the admission of doctorate students in 2019-2020 Academic Year is one of the few state universities in Turkey that offer doctorate education in this department. The curriculum of the International Trade and Logistics Department aims to train professional graduates who;
  • are knowledgeable and well-educated in the field of International Trade and Logistics,

  • closely seek for opportunities,
  • are researchers having respect to ethical values with a sense of social responsibility,
