​Seminar on “Logistics Centers in International Trade”

Tarsus University's Department of International Trade and Logistics organised a seminar titled ‘Logistics Centres in International Trade,’ open to students and external stakeholders. The seminar took place on 15 May 2025 in the university's B301 amphitheatre, with a presentation by Dr. Muhammed Turgut, a faculty member of the Department of International Trade and Logistics. The seminar covered fundamental topics such as the importance of logistics centres in international trade, their role in global supply chains, successful logistics centres, and the current state of Türkiye's logistics infrastructure. In his speech, Dr. Muhammed Turgut stated, "Logistics centres are of strategic importance for the effective, fast, and competitive conduct of foreign trade. By accurately analysing Türkiye 's potential in this field, it will be possible to achieve a more effective position in international trade. Through such events, we aim to enhance our students' awareness of the sector and strengthen knowledge sharing with external stakeholders."
The seminar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session where participants' questions were addressed.
