Export performance and product diversification, target market analyses, trade facilitation and customs practices, export incentives, and the relationship between the exchange rate and the foreign trade balance form the most intensively studied area of the department. Research is carried out both at the scale of Türkiye and comparatively across OECD and developing countries.
